Crochet Flower Scarf


This picture is a little wonky, but its the best one out of all the ones I took myself. This scarf only took a few weeks which is pretty fast considering I only worked on it for about an hour a day. I love the way it turned out, mainly because the first flowers are terrible and you can see the progression from terrible to correct. I didn't follow the pattern completely but if you want to make this here is my modified pattern.
Hook size K and a variety of yarns to match
Flower Type A (make 6)
ch 8 and join into a ring with sl st in first ch
Rnd 1 (RS) Ch 1, make 3 st in each sc, sl st in first st to join-24st
Rnd 2 Ch 1, *sc in sc, ch4, sk next 2sc* sl st to join in first st- 8 petals
Rnd 3 Ch 1, (sc,hdc,2dc,hdc,sc) in each petal, sl st to join in first ch. Fasten Off
Flower Type B (make 6)
ch2
Rnd 1 (RS) work 8 sc in second ch from hook, sl st to join in first sc-8st
Rnd 2 Ch 1 work 2 sc in each sc around sl st to join in first ch.
Rnd 3 Ch 6, sk next sc *dc in next sc, ch 3, sk next sc* sl st to join in first ch.-8 petals
Rnd 4 Ch 1 (sc, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sc) in each petal. sl st to join in first ch. Fasten off.
Leaves (make 4)
Row 1 Ch 12 turn
Row 2 Sl St into second ch, 2sc, 3 dc, 3 trc, 1dc, 1 sc, sl st in same st, turn and work the same stitches on the other side
Row 3 1 Sc, 1 dc, 3 trc, 3 dc, 2sc, sl st, Fasten Off
Sew all together
