My Friend David Gerbstadt
was riding his bike somewhere in Florida. He got hit by a bus and a car. He was bleeding pretty badly but had enough consciousness to hold his leg to stop the bleeding. The artery was severed and he needed a few blood transfusions. They almost had to amputate his leg. He went a few days without his glasses, so he was unable to see. I'm sure that was pure hell for him. His life is art and creating, it has to be torture to not be able to do anything. I was thinking that if you read this, you should check out his website of artwork www.gerbstadt.net. His stuff is very reasonably priced, it would probably cheer him up to get some business or even to get some e-mails through his site. Those two pictures up top are some of his work that he left out on the street for passers-by to take. He's cool like that.
