Further progess on Skull Purse

Wow, I don't know what I did wrong but this is way too big for a potholder. I'm glad I already decided it was going to be a purse. It measures something like 12" X 10". This picture is really cool, the face looks like it is glowing. My friend Alysen suggested that I put cross bones on the back side, I think that is a great idea but the bones are really hard to draw out on the graph paper. If I can't draw them tonight, I am just going to do one bone straight across.

On another note, I am still on my whole foods diet but I had a piece of banana bread at lunch (I have no idea what it was made of).

Skull purse (not potholder)

This is the start of my skull purse. I am excited that it is turning out so well. It is the first image I have ever crocheted. It's way easier than intarsia with knitting but it doesn't look as clean. I hope to finish off the head tonight. I'm still debating on whether or not to make a skull on the back of the purse as well, should it be the same or should I reverse the colors? Or should I just do a black panel. The sides and straps are going to be black and red stripes. I'd love feedback.
