First two pieces

I've made the first two pieces of my baby blanket. The one is done in a puff stitch the other is done in the popcorn stitch. My camera flash kind of hides the stitches, but I think it has a fun texture for a baby to play with. My original intention was to make different squares but these shapes are more freeform so I'm going to go with it and make a bunch of these pink freeform pieces then go in between with black. I think I can pull it off.
